“Human-centred design” is easy to say. These three beliefs are how we hold ourselves to it.
Technology should make people more capable, never less.
AI should serve the learner, not the other way round. We check that tools build curiosity, critical thinking and confidence, and don’t gatekeep, shrink or replace the human side of learning.
Fairness has to be designed in.
Nobody stumbles into ethical AI. Before a tool reaches millions of learners, someone has to check how it treats their privacy, their access and their wellbeing. We make that check part of the process.
Trust decides whether any of it works.
If teachers, students and families can’t trust the tools they rely on, even good ideas fail. Open, careful governance turns that doubt into shared progress.
